I am having a problem with the air suspension in my 1995 Range Rover. Is it a good idea to convert to coil springs as this is a recurring problem? How is the ride with coil springs? I do not use the car off road.

Thanks

The coil spring swap would be a better choice than The air springs. It will cost you less to swap out air for coil because once you have a coil swap you won't have to worry about your suspension going out on ya plus it will be easier on the trail. My mom has a Discovery series 2 with the SLS she is a soccer mom but she wants the SLS out and the Coil in. Better ride and less money to spend on EAS repairs. For the best info on EAS to Coils go to www.expeditionexchange.com That site has tons of info on the suspension of classic and P38 range rovers

GOOD LUCK

Well, it is not a better ride as mentioned, especially on a D2, but if you are have lots of problems that you don't seem to get fixed then the coil package would be a cheaper repair.
What sort of problem is your truck having?
By the way, I am running SLS on my Disco, just replaced the bags after 80,000 plus miles and wouldn't convert to coils on a bet.
