I was just driving it, put it in reverse, and the engine started smoking?!?!?! what's going on. I thought i saw smoke this morning when i put it in reverse, and i def. saw it just now.

Did the smoke came out of the exhaust pipes? Engine smoke could be caused by several things. It could be transmission fluid, I suggest you clean your engine by using an engine cleaner to be able to pinpoint where the fluid comes from. Other
car parts to check would be your serpentine belt and head gasket as the former maybe broken and the latter maybe leaking. If you experience rough running or overheating then address it immediately as your engine could be destroyed.

You really need to give us alot more information then that.Manual or automatic, what color smoke, white or grey.
Have you even opened the hood to look yet?
Give us something to work with.
