Hi everyone, When i start my 2000 D2 it sounds like there is a little compressor strainin for about 90 seconds than stops.
this only happens the first time I start the car for the day.

Have you opened the hood and listened, might want to. Could be a bad belt, belt tensioner, idler pulley or if you have secondary, your air pump may be failing.

Could be as simple as the hose popped off of the secondary air pump.

source of the noise is a motor attached to the firewall on the passenger side.

OH Yes, the secondary air injection motor, unfortunately it is pretty normal, some get louder when some how they get water in the system.
