Im selling my 95 Disco, and will need to SMOG it soon....Should I be scared? I know it will only need an "Idle SMOG" since it's AWD but should it pass? Anyone in CA with a 110,xxx mile LR1 have any issues ever? Annndd, if I do have issues, would adding a Magnaflow Cat help???

I would be no more scared of them then going to an IRS audit!!!
Make sure you are running premium gas, run a can of SeaFom thru the tank before you go for your chack and also do a 1 qt. engine flush and change your oil before testing. Make sure you have no vacuum leaks and drive the crap out of it to get rid of as much internal carbon before testing.
Also, make sure that they pre test the truck first so if it doesn't pass you won't be failed and reclassified as a gross polluter.
Good luck, and if any of these tips sound crazy just know I was a service manager in Ca for many years and delt with this all the time.

Truthfully I can't remember but good gas will help clean up your tucks act if it is needed.
My problem is I don't know much or anything about your truck so I threw my whole bag of trick at it for a worst case truck, the more you do, the better chance you will pass, just make sure they pretest it before so you don't get tagged as a gross pollutor.
