Hi,
I wonder if anyone can give me some advice.
My check engine light came on last week and so i dropped it off at garage for a check.
Was told nothing was wrong mechanically but there was an auto electrical problem. Got an auto electician to look at it who said it was not electircal is was cylinder 6 misfire and has directed me back to mechanics.
Can anyone shed some light on what problem with cylinder 6 may be and how to fix it???
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Many Thanks
Lou

needs to be properly diagnosed, but ususally a single cylinder misfire on a freelander is a coil.

thanks for your help.
Are coils easy to replace or will it be an expensive job?????
Auto electrician siad it would be time consuming as cylinder 6 is at the back of the engine. Is this true?
