Hi everyone
My Freelander have that 16 pin D-shaped connector and there are present the pins at the 16,13,7 and 4 position with 16-purple color,13 and 7-pink color and 4-black color of the wire. So it is not OBD 2 compliant?  Some said it is OBD1 compatible.
I was searching for diagnostic cable, tools or something but I couldnt find anything similar on the entire Net.
Please someone help with this.I need to reset error code for CHECK ENGINE light. My car is working fine.I have FreeLander 2002 TD4 diesel 2.0 bought in Europe

Hi,

Have a look at this link:

https://www.blackbox-solutions.com/shop/

Trust me, it is the cheapest you can buy that actually works!

The only other option is to find a local dealer with the L/R diagnostic equipment to do it for you.

Regards,

Nick
