I have a 96 Disco 1 and was wondering about new trie sizes. I have heard that 245 75 16 are good but I have a stock suspension set up adn was wondering if they are too big to put on with out trimming the rear wheel well.

Yes you can go to 245/75 without any problem. That size will give you more tire choices than the factory 235/70 size.

If you do alot of off roading just the inner rear fender well at the back inside.
I have BFG A/T 245/75/16.
