Driver Door lock

Hi to all, and would appreciate your help,
i know i might be asking a repetitve question and i hope you can bare with me as my issue with the door is slightly different.

i have a 2001 disco (left hand drive) which driver door lock recently stopped responding to the remote nor the buttom which is inside that opens all door. i can open it and close by using the key while all the other locks operate normal by the remote and the open button on the dash board.

any one have faced such thing ? and what can be the problem and the remedy for it.

Sounds like the lock actuator is failing, not common but it does happen.
I have a l/r door lock on my 99 that I usually have to click the remote a couple of times to open it, I will be replacing it when it becomes too much of a problem.
