Quick question. I recently bought a 2003 SE with 24k miles(non-certified).Has 25k right now.  Factory warranty ends in march and I am planning on buying the LR extended from the LR dealer. I had someone tell me that you must be the original owner to buy it and that LR checks to see even if the dealer does not. Is this true? I hope not. Thanks for any help on this.

Oh by the way, they are offering me 84mo/60K for 2800.00 or 84mo/75k for 3200.00 . These were quick qotes and they said they may be able to work with me on the final price.  These are also from the original date of purchase so that would give me three years from this march. Also, do these prices vary from dealer to dealer?

and I LOVE this truck! More when I replace the 18's with steel 16's.

You do not have to be the originail owner to buy an extended warranty.
Good luck and enjoy the truck.

I believe that it has to be within the original factory waaranty time frame to qualify for extended warranty. I'm looking at doing the same with my 04 Discovery Westminster.

Your mileage is too high to get a warranty at this point.
