Brake caliper?

Or the Caliper Mount are you trying to get the rotor off?

OH MY GOD!!! THAT BRACKET HAS A RED LINE AROUND IT!

By looking at how extended the pistons are on the caliper I guessing he is trying to get the bracket off to change the rotor. Not much brake pad was there from what it looks like, and the back side of the rotor is shot.

I didn't think this post would have any responses because I was just posting a pic for Disco Mike.
 
Anyways, to answer everyone's curiousity, I was trying to get that brake pad "bracket" off.
 
FYR, the rotors are still good, but I decided to get the drilled/slotted rotors w/the kevlar pads.
