Hey all, newbie here, this is my first Land Rover,  Disco1,  1997, (79K).  Really I know little about this truck, I bought it last month and it’s an I excited with it,  I have a concern about the front suspension,  the right side of the truck is almost one inch below the left side,  I tested the shocks and it’s seems to be normal.   This is a great site and hope to learn a lot from it.

THese trucks are heavy, and with your age, it is normal for the truck to have settled. You can get new shocks and springs for under $700. They are the best and it will give you a little lift without having to change anything else. Pretty easy to do in the driveway...

I agree, the original suspension has to be pretty tired and a replacement would be a good idea. By replacing the suspension, you would get a little lift out of it and a far better ride.

I'm agree,  lift a couple of inches will looks better.  I'm use 80% on the road.  Lift 1.5"--2.0" without sacrifice a lot of  oem movement will be ok for me.  Which will fit better?

Thanks guys.

OME is the more common way to go. Go to Expedition Exchange and read up on the different OME coils and shocks and when you get ready, shout and I'll connect you with one of the better places to call and order them.
