A friend of mine told me that there was a better additive thanm Seafoam to add to you fuel tank. He told me it started with a B followed by #'s.  Does anyone know about this.

"Barryman's" B-12. Cheaper, not necessarilly better. It's mostly Toluene, methanol and acetone: good cleaners. Probably very similar stuff, not sure what's in seafoam.

Possibly BK 44, about $20 at NAPA. Has a good reputation.

44k is expensive stuff. I'm not sure why it has such a good reputation other than marketing and word of mouth. Seems like all 3 of those must use very similar solvents.

I started using B&G's products nearly 20 years ago and believe me it does work. It works best on a tank of high octane and while driving out on the highway.

Do you think they doctor the pictures on the bottles?

I used BG 44K a month ago for the first time. I started with my Caddy, they have the same problem with carbon. 2MPG better today. I didn't tell my wife I did it, and I have been secretly recording her mileage, so it was a blind test. It works.

Hmm ill have to see if the auto store has that here in Baton Rouge, I could only find B-12 Chemtool... which reminds me of Paint Thinner.

I am really tempted to get it as my disco 1 has a 23.9Gal tank (per manual, would say 24 because of the top off) and I get about 270Miles per tank... which is 11.25avg... Is this good for a Disco1?

No, the company name is B&G, the gas additive is called 44K. They also make many other great products.
