Just picked up a repo LR3 for a steal :) But the in cab hood release doesnt work. Any ideas?

Broken cable? Slack adjustments way too tight? Try to pull on the in cab release lever while someone pushes down fairly hard on the front/center of the hood. If that doesn't work, you probably have a broken cable.
