When all four wheels are spinning in the air (reproduce this at your own peril) and then abruptly slow/stop upon landing, the ECU freaks out and crashes. The vehicle loses the suspension and you need to "reboot" (power on/off) to reset the Terrain Response system.

I have notified LRNA. They responded by saying, "you know... I don't think we tested for that." What the heck?! It's a Land Rover! Like you wouldn't jump it.

If you want to fly, buy a D2 and go play hard, LR3's are to computer driven to air all 4 tires.

That is pretty bad. I think most vehicle manufacturers jump their vehicles as part of their testing (GM did at least many years ago), so I can't fathom why LR wouldn't.

With all the things that have gone wrong with the LR3, I'm am losing respect for their test engineers.
