Thanks DiscoMike for your direction.
On Sunday afternoon I put a can of seafoam in my gas tank. I noticed a little difference. Today I put a can through the intake. WOW, my truck actually has some acceleration now. I could not believe it could make such a difference. Throttle response is great, acceleration is better than I ever remember it and it shifts into O/D at a higher speed. No more lag and labouring to get it going to highway speeds.
It worked a treat. Now I am happy again with my truck, the three amigos were cleared last week, now this. It smoked like a chimney for a few minutes and spluttered at first but soon cleared out all the crap.
Only problem is my Service Engine Light is on. It blinked twice upon first driving, but stayed on after that. Will this reset after a couple of cycles or do I have to get it cleared. Any thoughts ?

I may have had a bad case of "premature speculation". I drove to work this morning and it drives like a tank again.
Would the SES light have any effect on the engines running ?
