Anyone know how to get at the back of the cluster to access the bulbs? The hood over the cluster looks like it will pop off but I don't want to break anything trying if thats not the case . Disco 2 1999. Thanks

it will depend on the vehicle. in general it is from the interior of the vehicle. the best source is the manual for your vehicle. they are available on the net in both book and cd form. ebay is the least expensive that i have found for both. either way make sure you document the mileage change. and follow the directions. lay out you parts in the order in which they were taken out and when it comes time to replace them, there will be no questions. digital camera pictures are a good thing. hope it helps. gotta love a rover. duboff

After you've undone the two screws at the bottom of the dash ( You can see them when the adjustable steering wheel is at it's lowest) (use a stubby phillips)

the dash hood unclips from the two steel fixing clips. Wiggle it back towards you and up a little Unclip the side switch harnesses. The hood then lifts off

For the instrument cluster undo two screws each side of the dash pod and lift dash pod up. Unclip harnesses and voila!
