1999 Disco II - Typical problems over the year, but recently I've been having problems with the ignition. The keys (both) seemed to be sticking and I had to work them to get them to engage the ignition. Over the last couple of days I really have to "jiggle" the key in the ignition for it to engage. I've tried both keys and its the same for both, which suggests that the problem is the ignition itself.

Anyone else come across this one? Thanks

WD40. Had problem with my '98 Disco ignition too. My wife couldn't get the key out. Sprayed it months ago and everything is fine.

use graphite powder, it last longer than wd40 or remoil and doesnt have an odor, also wont harm electronics.

Graphite powder is VERY conductive. I think getting that stuff even close to electronics would be sketchy. Other then that, it really is great stuff for tumblers and linkages.
