Leak - Transmission or Power Steering???

I have some sort of leak in my 2001 Disco. The funny thing is that it is intermittent. Today it squirt about a couple of table spoons worth of either Power Steering Fluid or Transmission fluid from somewhere in the lower part of the drivers side engine compartment, then stopped. Its wierd. I have smelt it burning for the past few weeks but cannot pinpoint the leak because it seems to do it then stop. The only thing I can think of is that it comes out of one of the power steering lines or possibly a transmission cooling line. Looks like both are relatively close to eachother. I am completely confused

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
