I am thinking about doing an induction cleaning on my 99 D2 today as it is pretty windy and hopefully will help with the smoke.  However I am not sure which hose I am supposed to use to put the Seafoam into the engine.  Does anyone have a picture of where the stuff should go.  I appreciate the help.

These are the pics that DiscoMike sent me when I was doing the seafoam; just pull the hose/plug down and to the left of the red washer.

Yep thats the one I used.  Just make sure you have a pliers on hand to crimp the tube or it will suck down the whole can and kill the engine.

Mike says to try and draw out the seafoam intake to 2-4 minutes if possible.  When I did it I had a helper hold the tube in the can while I worked the pliers.  That way I could have him pull it out if I needed.  Also helped to create bubbles in the line to see how fast things are being fed in.

I clamped some mini vice grips on the hose to regulate the flow and that seemed to work good.

It will pull off by hand. It is just a rubber cap on a little metal tube. It is an auxilary vacuum stem. A short peice of vacuum hose will fit perfectly. Wait until you see how much smoke that stuff can make.   ALOT!!!!

I was expecting to have a 007 smoke screen going on but mine really wasn't that bad, but I did get some funny looks at red lights getting to the highway to blow it out.

Hey Brooksa same here I was a little dissapointed with how much smoke came out.  I hope that is a good sign because we have newer Discos!!!

I hope so too, and my TB was not as bad as I had thought it would be, but it does run and idle a lot better. Although it did throw the SES light that it still on,  but going in for 60k service in a week or 2.
