I own a 1995 Range Rover 4.0SE, this is an odd one because while it harnesses a 4.0SE engine, the badge on the tailgait says it is a 4.6SE. I was wondering if I could replace the 4.0 with a 4.6 and everything connect up properly?

P.S. - I also am looking for a good place to buy a new engine that has resonable pricing. Any info would be greatly appriciated.

If you are talking about dropping in a short block, you shouldn't have any problem. Are you looking new or a good deal on a salveage engine. E-Bay has some good deals quite often on good guarentied used, remanufactured and salveged motors. So if you use all the old heads after having the reworked, intake mantake manifolds and things you shouldn't need to even change the ECU. I have heard some people talk about upgrading the radiator to a larger unit, I think that depends if you live in a hot area.
For new start with Atlantic British.
Hope this helps.

The only difference between a 4.0 and 4.6 is the crank and pistons the rest of the truck is the same been there done this a hundred times
