Looking for Tires for 2003 Disco

    I'm in need of tires.  I went to Discount tire who gave me a quote for $220 per tire for "OEM" tire recommendations for 16" wheels.

What do you all suggest?  My vehicle is mainly on pavement with weekend trips to the country, nothing crazy off-road.  Let me know what ya'll have had success with.

I purchased my 02 disco used with Hankook RH06's installed, I have previously always purchased Michelin tires. With that being said, I love the Hankooks they have a decent wear rating and are M&S rated and are an XL tire as well. see link to TireRack below

But for 16's you should be able to find a decent set for $500 vs the $880 you were quoted. Do you have wholesale club membership? BJ's, Costco, Sam's Club?

I buy all my tires from tirerack.com.  I then have them mounted at Sams Club.  Its much cheaper to ship tires than you might think, and the selection is great.
