Hey guys I'm looking to buy a late 1990s Range Rover. How come some of the HSE range rovers I'm looking at have clear lights and painted grills and other do not? Is that just some sort or sport package?
Would you recommend taking out the air suspension to save myself from any problems down the road?
Is there anything in particular I should look for/avoid when buying a used rover?

In 2000 or 2001, Land Rover changed the lights to clear as well as some other tiny design changes. The radio was changed in 98 or 99 i think, and the Instrument Panel was freshened up in 2000 as well. They also started putting in leather shift knobs and e-brake handles in if I remember correctly in 98.
