LPG conversion

Hi all.   I am considering taking in my car to be converted to LPG however I have heard that this could cause mechanical problems in the future such as cyclinder head problems, etc.  I was told by one source that the Series 1 Disco's are not good conversion vehicles.
 
Vehicle is a 1997 Series 1 Discovery Auto 3.9 V8.
 
Any truth to this and has someone who has had a conversion run into any problems?
