oil under passenger rug

I have a 1999 range rover 4.6 and the other day i noticed that under the carpet on the passenger seat there was a lot of oil. I smelled it thinking it was anti-freeze but it doesnt smell like it. it smells like WD40 or corn oil what can this oil be?????????????????????????????????

sounds like leaking heater core o rings... or maybe someone spilled corn oil or wd40
