I Have a 97 disco, and had to disconect the battery. When I reconnnected the battery the radio ( Clarion PU-9845A ) asked for the security code. This I entered and it appeared to accept it. Now the radio works for 5 mins then locks with the display saying "security". The radio will not work until I switch it off and back on whilst holding the BND button in and then 5 mins later it shuts down again.
Has anyone got any ideas?
If the radio is screwed then what after market kit would be a good choice? Or shoul I save the money and stick in a new intercooler Its a 300 tdi.
id try asking wherever you got the stereo. or go to the clarion site.
