want to buy a series I Discovery w/ manual trans

Hi, I found a 97 Disco with 70K Kms (approx 44K miles) on it and it comes with the complete service record and the endorsement of a Land Rover Specialist (it's not his vehicle). It's a white SD with manual trans, cloth seats, 5 seater and no sunroofs and it's exactly what I wanted.

But I hesitate at negotiating a price, because what is a fair price?

If anyone has an opion on what the price range is on a 97 Disco let me know.

What is the seller asking?
You have found a GOLD mine in that vehicle. Setting a price on it may be hard, there are so few out there, especially with a 5 speed and that low mileage.
What state is the truck located in, this will have some bearing on what they may ask for it? Is it a private party trying to sell it or a dealer?

If the price is right go for it. If you decide that you hate it, there is always somebody on the site looking for one.
