Hey I was watching this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=abrb5AZDeW8 these two guys are having a good time in ther OLD land rover but it sparked a question! If I go in water and water comes in the cab will it short every thing out? I have a 03 disco HSE 52000 miles so I have Electrice seats heater and fuses under the seat...and could it shut it down?hmm

Yup - Land Rover doesn't recomend going deeper than your wheel hubs.

Not to be a smartass, but if you're going to venture out in water that deep...you had better buy yourself a submarine...The Discovery is sealed up pretty good for wading in a couple of feet of water, but if you're planning on going in over the tops of your tires, you're just asking for problems.I've seen a Discovery with a snorkel setup cross a river and have water just about level with the door handles(they will do it),but the guy wrecked his interior carpets and fried his disc changer....the truck still smells like musty wet Saint Bernard....

If you watch your door seals making sure they are all intack, you can go to the top of your wires as long as you drive slow and don't stop while in the water.
