I'm currently in market for discovery.  I live in cincinnati ohio, I'll travel if price is right. minor fixer uppper is welcome(blown engine, ect.)  minor body work can be consider but not much.

I Have disco II Maroon 7 pass, loaded 104,000 been in good wokring condtion, have had some minor repairs - trying to figure out TC light, abs, check engine light right now - sell for around 8,500 -

run some numbers on Disco LR7 and will sale for around 7,400 as is. Let me know also going to post it on web

my budget is around $4000. 

I have 1995 disco 1 (135k miles) new heads (rebuilt, valves grinded - gaskets)
 
Engine runs GREAT, transmission shifts great, needs new front bumper
 
has brand new tires, interior is perfect except for normal wear on front seats, from people getting in and out, no rips or tears ...
 
excellent sound system, 6 disc changer, power sunroofs, all the options..
 
even the 2 jump seats in the back...
 
 
CONS, can't figure out the coolant loss,  at mechanics shop right now, trying to bleed the coolant system and get out the air bubble and track down the hose leak,

got a 95 disco 1 for sale.  Green, tan interior.  NEeds some minor work, but runs very well.  got about 180,000 on it.  sounds like it would fit your criteria, and your budget is in my asking price.  The truck is in Canada, though
