Having big problems with 1993 disco, the imoblizer will not switch off, I locked the car with the clicker and it now won't open with it, can open the door with the key but it won't disarm the imoblizer have changed batteries and only have the one clicker please help.

Hi Sarah, sorry for the delay in reply, have been busy trying to fix my 90.

You can disable the immobilser by using a key code in the drivers door lock. You may have a four digit code written down somewhere in the disco manual or service book if you have either of them. You then need to turn the key in the lock X times one way followed by one turn the oppersite way, followed by X times again till you have done the four digit code. Only proplem is, this would have to be done every time you want to drive it. It is designed so you can use the vehicle till you get it to your Land Rover dealer, who is the only one who can connect a computer up to work out the actual fault.
