We were told by a Land Rover dealer that 5 speed manual Discoveries are hard to find and appreciating in price? Any truth to this assertion?

Hi !

I would not be surprised if that were true, since auto gearboxes are much more popular in the US.
Ever considered importing one from Europe ? They are quite cheap here, compared to US.
