vegetable oil? that's awesome, but unfortunately it would put people like my parents and several family and friends out of a job. hopefully it will be a very long time before that ever plants its roots, or at least over here, i don't know what smog and stuff like that is like over there, but here, no one even thinks about it when you have a population of 100,000 spread over about 300 square miles. i could understand it for las angeles or NYC or somewhere big

It looks like it will happen a lot quicker over here with regard to the introduction of Bio Fuels... simply as europe is tired of been held to ransome by all the countires which have oil, as our natural stocks are running out, we are trying to meet the kato agreements with reducing emissions as well..

Would your parents be out of a job, not sure, as the leading developers of the bio fuels are the oil companies, it is a lot cheaper for them to buy farms and run a farm growing the oil than to look for oil in other countries.. and off shore...

that makes me glad that we have plenty of oil in west texas, there have been reports that there is an equilavent amount of oil in ANWR (Alaskan National Wildlife Refuge) and on the coast of california as saudi arabia. too bad there are too many hippie tree huggers in cali. is there any good places for off roading in UK? i isn't there some kind of resort for an off road driving school? i heard about it from a dealer in new mexico.

Yes, we have plenty of places to go off road, we have public lanes, forestry roads, (open only certain times and you have to pay normally) also private off road sites which can challenge anyone, even experts, plus Land Rover have quite a few centres as well.. http://www.landrover.com/gb/en/Adventures/Experience/Land_Rover_Experience.htm

You normally get a free session of some kind when you buy a new vehicle... but open to anyone and you can take your own landie if you wish or try out using the ones they have..

Don't do it!!!! I have a Freelander 2002 and I've had nothing but problems with it. Landrover has actually discontinued the model. You can check on their website...it doesn't even list it as a model any more. I've had my rover in the shop 12 times and 11 of those times was for replacement of defective parts!! Not a good percentage.

They advertise that this vehicle is the most travelled vehicle on earth and yet I can't get it out of the driveway!!! They talk about adventerous, quality, and supermacy but I have not seen any of these qualities. Save your money and buy something else.
