No sweat bruv - I browse to locations as a matter of course - call it a habit. Was just an observation that might help our Trinidadian friend ;-)

Not sure how to get your landies though - only thing I can select that looks remotely land rover is the Safari jobbie - fun but not like the pics I saw.

oh, you have to download the Landrovers I built, they aren't released yet though, but I will be releasing them on Christmas Eve, so you can look for them on insaneheat.com then and they will be up

btw, to install downloaded vehicles, you take the IDF that came in the zip, and place it in C:/program files/codemasters/insane/data/vehicles and maps are the same except they go into the map folder.
There is a limit to the IDFs though. no one knows what it is, but when you see some of the vehicles you had dissappear, you know you've hit it.

This is weird.

I tried extracting the files to c:/codemasters/Insane and it still asks for the serial number. I the reinstalled the game and nothing.

please help

Trini, try installing the patch to C:/PROGRAM FILES/codemasters/insane

Apparently Codemasters switched installation directories

not yet, I haven't even started modelling the disco or RR, since I've got some current projects going (a few maps and a G4 Defender as well as a Porsche)

The G4 Defender looks 100x better then the Defender I recently released btw, still adding details to it though.

cool... i imagine these are hard to animate.

but pleaaaaaaase make a D1 as soon as you get a chance! (White with Dual Sunroofs and brush guards... just a suggestion)

I'm currently 85% of the way through downloading this game (taking a while...my connection is weak today for some reason) and am quite excited to check it out and drive your land rovers in the game...

insaneheat has a downloads menu near the top of the site (it's a red horizontal bar with buttons), although it's not working for some people atm (I have no idea what's up with that)

if it's not showing for you, I can send you the link to it.

to install a new vehicle or map, you take the IDF you downloaded, and place it in C:/Program Files/codemasters/insane/data/vehicles, and you place it in the maps folder instead of vehicles, if it's a map.
