also, if people want a diesel over here, they are likely to get a powerstroke or maybe a cummins or duramax, (FORD, dodge, chevy)

large or not, we have a 2000 7.3 powerstroke that will make it from here to el paso and back on one tank, with about 50 miles left over. el paso is 298 miles from here, good ol 38 gallon tank!

I did my first pure highway driving with the LR and I was very happy with the mpg. I pulled my classic mini cooper for about 300 miles (up and down the mountains of Tennessee and North Carolina) and I got 18mpg. The best part was that I didn't even notice the mini!! Without the mini, I was achieving 22+ mpg. Not too bad for a 6000lb. beast!!!!!

ORIGINAL: anonimaus There is a 2.8 Powerstroke diesel that will fit under the hood as well as the 300 tdi. Need to change the front suspension and do some welding for the mounts. And scrap the electrical. And scrap the A/C. And modify the transmission. And change the cooling. And... (I think you get the picture) I would pay any price for gas before i ever did anything with a powerchoke, powerjoke, powerlesstroke, or just plain power stroke crap.
