I have a 95 classic range rover and have just had the brake light warning come on in the dash console and then the brake pressure reduced by about 50% of normal. Would some know what might cause this problem.

Geoman, Thank you for your reply, I started the vehicle and there was no noise in the location that you described. There was however a definite noise of some sort of pump that ran for about the approx time described and then released a short hiss of air once it stopped running but it has always made this noise. Could there be an electrical fault with a relay and if so where would the relay be locate to check this? Regards, Dumellarah.

Geoman, Again thank you for your reply, I checked the fuse bank at the rear under the drivers seat and all seems fine and the 30 amp fuse in the engine compartment, however i cant check the relays so i have arranged for an auto electrican to look at it from here. I would assume that if there is no power to the ABS pressure pump that it should be a diode or a relay as you say and not the pump motor or accumulator themselves? There are three relays located on the right side under the drivers, can you tell me if these are for the ABS?
