that 3.0 is the same motor we had in our old taurus, that is a running little motor, once it winds up, it takes off!!! i think 231 hp. the 3.8 i assume is a 24v dohc, if not, sounds like what the used to put in 94-04 mustang V6s 12 valve over head valve
