Has anyone added a second battery to their 06 or newer Range Rover?

...just trying to avoid any pitfalls anyone else may have already encountered.

Thanks for any help

Battery Isolator is needed to keep the batteries seperated this also charges the primary (starting) battery first , then sends additional power to the secondary auxillary battery ... You can find the stinger brand ones for like $20 on ebay... I'm assuming you want a second battery mounted in the rear if so then summit racing has a battery relocation kit for $50 it includes wiring and a battery box ... Since this is inside the passenger compartment I'd suggest only using a gel cell (optima .stinger or Odessey type battery) incase of rollover the battery acid doesn't spill out ...
I also like to fuse or breaker both ends of the wire to alternator rated output , it's a safety incase you get a short on the wiring and prevent alternator damage or prevents a fire

Tink,
Just curious, why are you wanting a second battery, are you running a winch or just want some additional reserve?
