Any suggestions on cleaning the under carriage of a Disco II, like, say, after getting it muddy?

Go to a quarter car wash and spend the time on your knees and back--- pressure washing the crud off. DO NOT do the same thing on the actual engine or you can cause a lot of problems. Make sure you don't let mud dry on the inside of your rims or you will end up with road vibration from the out-of-balance condition.
