Hi
Just got my Land Rover, it has full Land Rover service historye tc. After four days of running it, I was travelling 60mph and I could hear a noise clicking , a continous clicking noise. The noise did not stop, I turned the engine of for 20mins and started her up, again a clicking noise and a small amount of fluid laid on the floor. I cleaned up the fluid and started the engine again the noise was not as continous or loud and no fluid leaked.
The temperture indicator did not go up, hope someone can help. Pleaseeeeeeeeee.
thank you for any ideas you might have
6 months ago the history states all belts were replaced.

Hi
Went away on bussiness for the day. The fluid seemed to be water and anti-freeze. I have also looked through the service history, all belts were changed approx 4 months ago and has done 1000miles since the belt change. When I start the engine a loud clicking noise seem to becoming from the front of the engine. After reading through the forum I'm beginingng to lean towards it being the water pump bearing - because of the tension from the new belts. I'm by no means a expert or mechanic does this sound right ??
Thanks for any help, anyone could give.

Damon

go with the water pump bearings. my mates 3ootdi had new belts and 1 month later bearings went on water pump lost all water pressure thru bearing and belt jumped off doin 70 mph on m6 not good at all.... probably best to change water pump..before any more damage
