Well, I am new here, but not to Rovers.
This is the ONE place where my screen name isn't a mystery.

LR - (Obvious)

Safari - I own a 109 "Safari".

I have used this screen name/email since the early 90's. So kinda' used to it by now.

The 109 was actually on safari from 1960 - 1965 as a photographers truck. Then it "came home" with the photog to New Mexico where he traded it for an 88" to tow a trailer. Pete Rose bought it (not that Pete Rose). Had the engine sieze due to mechanics error and he hogged out an adapter from solid aluminum stock to mate a 289 Ford from a Mustang to the stock gearbox. This was in 1970. So probably one of the first V8 Series trucks I would guess.

While I was thinking about what name to register on the forum so I could post, I thought of the movie House Party. I think the father mispronounced one of the kids names or couldn't remember it. It just kind of struck me as wierd and I've for some reason remembered it ever since.

Because everyone loves the Donger!!  Not sure how I really decided upon using a characters name from the movie 16 Candles.  I'm not Asian and not really a fan of that show, the name just makes me laugh I guess.

DirtyDuk ,  (No not my dirty rover ). I am also a motorcycle nut and my 02 Ducati ST4s is flat grey (factory color) and I just ride it , who's got time to wash this stuff ?It dont need no stinkin wax ! . But at 30thousand plus miles, I want to have the highest milage 996 ducati in the north east, and yes I always get cought in the rain, so it usually looks like hell. My NJ plate is 2ZNUF , but I do dig 4 wheels too.
