Bene- Did you have any luck freeing the linkage. I' having similar problems, only I can't get the TC in to lock or low range. Haven't had a chance to lube yet. Just wondering if you were successful.

Actually, I gave Bene some bad advise. He can move the transfer box lever from lock to unlock. He can't move the lever from low to high range. For obvious safety reasons, the vehicle must be in neutral to change ranges. First, with a test light, key on, and in neutral. Check for power on both sides of fuses F12 & F13. Located on the drivers side under dash panel. This may seem simple but it tells a lot. We'll go from there.
