lord knows i've tried on more that one occasion. it locks the diff fine, and ive only gotten the transfer case into neuteral once. is it possible that it may just need some lube from the previous owner not using it?

I have had similar problems when I haven't used it for a while. Try lubricating the linkage first.

Bene,

All jokes aside, It comes from A lack of use ! He he !

It seems your linkage has seized up. It is not easy to get to. You must remove the center console and drill out the rivets to access. Then comes the challenge. Trying to free up 10 year old linkage.
