Hi
Does anyone from the UK know if Bull bars have been illegal?
I've read on the internet that 2006 Bull bars will be banned.

that sucks!!! my buddy aaron has a custom bumper on his chevy that is about 2 feet long and you can walk on it. like a park bench on the front of his half ton. maybe i can get a picture of it soon. if texas made a law like that, (God forbid) i would move. of course, this is texas and that kind of liberal crap usually doesn't happen. too much oil businesses need them on their trucks.

For those who have not seen a Bull Bar, here's a link to them at Rovers North.

They will be banned as a manufacturer fit and maybe as a fit to vehicles after a certain date, i.e. 2006 models onwards..

Though you can now buy plastic ones, which look the same, but should help with impacts on pedestrians...

Tell the pedestrians to look both ways before stepping into the path of my Rover.....

Instead of some dumb-a** law that makes me change to protect thier stupidity.......

Alreet mate im a brit the law has changed but like someone said only as a manufactur fit but you can still buy various bull bars after market but most important is your insurance company check with them before fitting some wont allow due to increased claims of pedestrians...when u have cut them in two....glynn
