Had a really bad repair time with my 95 4.0 (not the classic ) this year. Transmission went out and they sent the wrong one from AZ. The wait kept my poor 4.0 in the garage for 4 months and then weird electrical problems. The battery would drain when the Range Rover was turned off. The mechanic tried tracing down what she thought was a short and narrowed it down to a "computer chip box under the seat". Sometimes the battery lasts for 3 days sometimes 12 hours. Unhook the battery now. Now all the electrical works except for the driver's window and mirror.

I love my Range Rover. With two back operations it is all that is between me and not being able to drive (the seats are great for people with lower back problems. ) However I am going to have to start figuring out a lot of things myself to keep it. Any suggestion about the latest mystery?
