front driveline clunk - 5/20/2007 7:33:07 PM    yawseph   Posts: 5 Joined: 7/17/2006 Status: offline I just got done with a long trip to moses lake and I noticed a clunk near what sounds like the front diff. It only happens when im turning slowing wile im on the gas or im backing up wile turning. It sounds like something is siezing then  realising. I did do a fair amount of driving in the dunes.. I am thinking that mabe the try weather and sand plus the placement of them by the cats might have dried them up. I know the shop I took it to get checked out added grease to the swivels. Do I need a grease gun to do the U joints??  my friend has one and do I need any type of special grease. (in reply to Disco Mike) Post #: 3
