I have standard "tornado" five spoke alloys, and am wondering if there is more than one tire size will fit on them.

in particular, LT 285/75 R16

Look on the back of the wheel. it will give the wheel width. 8" wheels are best for a 285 tires and I have also know a few people who have run then on 7" wheels.

Im getting my wife to order the BF Goodwrench All-Terrain T/A KO in 255/70/16, almost identical to stock tire size and much better than bald like we have right now.

Just remember, you will loose at least 2MPG with 285" and will also throw more starin on your wheel bearings.
How much of a lift are you running?
