Hi everyone. Here is the situation, hopefully somebody can help me........
I have a 2003 discovery SD, automatic. The stick is bolcked in P (parking) and the break lights aren't working. I managed to manually release the security lock and move it to D (drive), but I need to fix it. I though maybe it has a sensor or somethig that is not working.
Any clues????
Thanks!

Your brake switch has failed, it is located on the brake pedal arm. You can start the truck by by-passing the switch to at least start and shift the truck.
