Hey there, Does anyone know what is the best solution to this problem I have. My friend and I ran a test on my vehicle. The code came up with this: "Running to rich on bank #2" The code number was 1175. Someone told me that it means that Bank 2, which is one side of the engine block, is burning too much fuel, which could mean there is not enough air? Can anyone explain and give me the right avenue of what I should do? Thanks, George

Hi George I assume you are running a V8, if the fuelling is too rich on one bank suggest that the lambda sensor which is in the exhaust just down stream from the engine manifold may not be working properly. If you look at the following site it tells you how to test these components basically you need to see the voltage changing, once the engine is hot. The other way would be to swop the sensors on the 2 banks and see if the code changes to the Bank 1 http://www.ntksensors.co.uk/ Since code is so specific then must be this or a faulty injector perhaps Good Luck and let us know how you get on
