I have no idea about Europe but in Perth Western Australia I had one made for my old '80 2 door that had after market Smith instrument electric windows, I looked in the phone book, made a couple of calls, showed them the old cable and picked up the custom made one a couple of hours later, it wasn't a auto place but more a small manufacturer who made drive cables for general industrial purposes.
I'm sure they must have this sort of service in many parts of Europe.
