Hi All-

I have a 99 Disco SE7.. I have noticed a sort of high pitched whistle when I accelerate around 35-45mph and again around 70-90mph (this is an even higher pitched whistle). I know it is not the regular transmission sound, but it's a litlle un-nerving, and it disappears one I let go of the accelerator pedal. Any ideas, or is this normal??

Thanks!

sounds like my problem, only instead of a whine its a vibration. someone said someting about a misfire. however being whine, it may be that there is something else wrong with the engine. i dont know, maybe a bad bering somwhere?
