Hi. Can anyone help me? I have two problems with my 1999 1.8 Freelander.
1. Sometimes when I changing gear and push in the clucth the revs shoot up very high. It can happen maybe once in a day then not happen for a week, and then happen for a whole day almost everytime I go to change gear.

2. The next promlem is that sometimes it starts to chug and splutter and sometimes stops especially in damp weather early in the morning. I got it checked out at the garage when it had the 80,000km service but they couldn't find anything.
